Like in the subject... I caught something last weekend. Just like ol' good John K. said - we don't appreciate our health until we're ill. I have a headache, my nose is swollen and I'm sniffin all the time. All I want to do is go home and go to sleep... Gosh.

Maybe anybody knows some granny's advices to get rid of cold? A few years ago one guy from Montreal (btw - , how's been Your weekend in Montreal? ) gave me a recipe for a home-made medicine... well, kinda medicine Here it is (original spelling):

"The magic potion: an onze of gin, honey, lime or orange drops (anything sour will do) and hot water.  that will make you slumber and heal quickly (taken several time in a row make you forget your ill too)"

Heck, I have to take a few days off...

Sorry to hear that you have a cold. Hope you feel better soon. Tell your mom slash wife to make you chicken soup and eat it when it's really hot. Take Tylenol, Advil or other meds and go to bed. The recipe from MTL sounds good too If you have a sinus congestion go to the shower and open hot water ( but don't burn yourself), wait till the air gets really moist and just inhale the steam. That helps a lot.

My weekend was awesome!!! I had so much fun! My cousin is in the university there so we got to go to frosh parties - they are wild ! We went to Snow AP which is an open air pub in the snow Heated tents full of wild wild people. Went to Peel Pub and saw the biggest pitcher of beer ever! 4 liters! Best party ever was in Cheers pub. There were guys (and girls) in lab coats. They just had the underwear and the lab coats It was so much fun. I felt so young again I got to go to classes at McGill University as well, really liked it. Weekend was awesome! I wanna go again, but this time for the whole week or two

sorry to hear that, mogart... anyway my way is (it's gonna be awful) spend a whole day in bed, take aspirin first, then drink a pint of hot beer with a little drop of honey in it. in about two hours you'll be sweating like a pig (which is good), change your undies, drink another beer, repeat untill wasted. go to sleep. in the morning you're a new man. tried it on myself and my hamster. it is 50 % efficient. hamster died, i live. so if yer not a hamster, enjoy
